Upface - Terms

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and Furkan Kaya governing your use of the Upface mobile application (the "App"). By using the App you accept them.

1. Licence

A personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

2. What the App does — and does not promise

Upface estimates appearance scores from your selfies with artificial intelligence, explains them, builds a 30-day grooming and wellness plan, shows an AI-edited "Potential" portrait and lets you rescan weekly. Scores are estimates that vary with light, angle and expression; the Potential portrait is an AI preview, not a promise of how you will look, and results differ between people. The App is not medical, dermatological or psychological advice and does not diagnose or treat anything. If you are struggling with how you feel about your appearance, please talk to someone you trust or a qualified professional.

3. Age and whose photos

You must be at least 16. Scan only yourself. Never scan another person, in particular a minor, and never use the App to rate, compare or shame anyone.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Upface Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (weekly or yearly). The plan, length and price are shown in your local currency before you confirm.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the price of your plan.
  • Manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings at any time after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel.
  • There is no free trial. Prices may vary by country and may change; you will be asked to confirm a new price first.
  • Fair use: AI processing runs on paid capacity, so a subscription includes one scan per week and a daily allowance of Coach questions, as shown in the App.

5. Cancellation, refunds, restore

Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store Terms of Sale; we are happy to help with a request. "Restore" on any purchase screen recovers an active subscription on a device signed in with the same Apple ID.

6. Acceptable use

Do not: upload someone else's photo; create sexual, violent, hateful or harassing content; attempt to circumvent safeguards, App Attest, limits or fair use; reverse engineer, scrape or resell the App or its processing service. We may suspend the AI features after a breach.

7. Your content

You keep all rights in your photos. You grant us only the limited, temporary licence needed to process them for the result you asked for, including passing them to our AI provider (the Google Gemini API) as described in the Privacy Policy. Neither we nor Google use them to train AI models, and our server does not store them. The Potential portrait and your score cards are yours to keep and share.

8. Availability

Features that rely on our processing service or model provider may be temporarily unavailable. We may change or discontinue features; if a change materially reduces what a subscription offers, you may cancel and, where the law requires, request a pro-rated refund through Apple.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The App is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may end access after a material breach (section 6). Sections 7, 9 and 11 survive.

11. Governing law

Laws of the Republic of Türkiye; consumers keep the mandatory protections of their country of residence and may use their local courts.

12. Apple

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to maintain or support the App, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries who may enforce these Terms. 13. Changes and contact
